The idea
The dining nook is a bright, compact space next to an open kitchen, with a large window facing the garden and beige tile floors. The plan uses a distressed-wood table for 6 as the centrepiece, black metal accents in the lighting and chairs, and warm textiles. A rug and soft window dressing take the edge off the tile and the plain white walls. The table sits centred under the ceiling hook, which is the existing pendant point.
Palette: Warm whites and cream, weathered oak/grey-washed distressed wood, matte black metal, with natural linen and jute textures and touches of garden green
