Modern living room for $1,029
My own home · budget $2,000 · designed October 20, 2026
The idea
A crisp, modern living room in warm greys and off-whites, with one bold mustard accent. Slim black metal and light oak wood replace the heavy leather and glass pieces. A large neutral rug covers the worn beige carpet. The brick and oak fireplace stays as the focal point, and the sofa and armchair are arranged to face it.
Palette: Warm light grey and off-white base, natural oak and matte black metal, with mustard/ochre as the single accent colour
