The idea
A calm Scandinavian refresh: the fireplace stays as the focal point, and the dated leather sofa, glass table and small rugs are replaced with a light fabric sofa, pale wood tables and layered cosy textiles. Sheer white curtains replace the vertical blinds to soften the big picture window, and a large neutral rug covers the worn beige carpet.
Palette: Warm white, light grey and oatmeal textiles, pale birch/ash wood, soft black metal accents, and touches of sage green from plants.
