The idea
A calm boutique-hotel bedroom built around one statement piece: a tall upholstered headboard bed in deep colour on the blank wall facing the door. Warm white walls and grey carpet stay as the neutral base. Layered bedding, blackout drapes, matching lamps and a big piece of art add a hotel feel and photograph well. Everything is wipeable, washable or hard-wearing.
